Delhi — Where History Meets the Modern World
Your 3 Days Golden Triangle Tour begins in Delhi, India's capital and one of the world's oldest living cities. Old Delhi pulls you back centuries — narrow lanes, the grand Jama Masjid, the chaos and colour of Chandni Chowk. New Delhi feels completely different: wide avenues, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, and the quiet dignity of Qutub Minar. Most travelers are surprised by how much Delhi packs into a single day. The city doesn't just show you history but it makes you feel it.
Agra — Home of the Taj Mahal
Agra is the heart of this tour and the reason most people visit North India in the first place. Seeing the Taj Mahal at sunrise when the white marble shifts from grey to pink to gold, is something no photograph can prepare you for. Beyond the Taj, Agra Fort tells the full story of the Mughal empire, and Fatehpur Sikri on the road to Jaipur adds another extraordinary chapter. Pioneer Holidays is based in Agra, which means our guides here have a depth of local knowledge you simply won't find with Delhi-based operators.
Jaipur — The Pink City of Rajasthan
Jaipur brings the tour to a royal finish. The city was painted pink in 1876 to welcome the Prince of Wales, and the tradition has held ever since. Amber Fort sits on a hill above the city and rewards every step of the climb. Hawa Mahal's 953 latticed windows, City Palace's living royal history, and Jantar Mantar's 18th-century astronomical instruments make Jaipur one of the most visually rich cities in India. The bazaars here offer jewellery, block-print textiles and blue pottery that are worth every minute of browsing time.
October to March — The best months for this tour. Weather is cool and pleasant, mornings at the Taj Mahal are comfortable, and visibility is clear for photography.
April to June — North India gets hot, with temperatures in Agra reaching 42–45°C. Tours start earlier in the morning to beat the heat. Still very doable with the right preparation.
July to September — Monsoon season brings green landscapes and fewer crowds. The Taj Mahal looks dramatic under monsoon skies. Occasional rain is the only downside.
Taj Mahal sunrise visits — Recommended in every season. The monument is quietest in the first hour after opening, and the light is at its most beautiful.
Year-round availability — This tour runs 365 days a year. Plan according to your schedule and we will make it work.
